United as
Good Neighbors
As your neighbors and fellow South Dakotans,
we are dedicated to healthy stewardship of livestock, land
and environment. Ag United has at its core a Good
Neighbor Policy that states:
As a farmer I will…
- Be mindful of all laws and regulations.
- Use best management practices
that can minimize odor, dust and noise.
- Remember to protect the environment
when planning and conducting farming practices.
- Provide the best possible care
to the animals and livestock that I raise.
- Remember motorists and avoid,
whenever possible, driving farm equipment on high-traffic
roads.
- Acknowledge the need to explain
what I do and why.
- Help consumers gain a greater
appreciation for food production.
- Assist my neighbors when in need
and ask for help when I'm in need.
