Lisa Richardson serves as the executive director of the South Dakota Corn Utilization Council and the South Dakota Corn Growers Association.
Richardson worked in Washington DC doing ag policy work for Senator Larry Pressler in the United States Senate from 1990 through 1996. In 1997, she began working for the South Dakota Corn Utilization Council. Under her leadership, South Dakota began developing farmer owned ethanol plants and has been instrumental in successful value added ethanol plants throughout South Dakota.
Richardson is originally from Brookings, SD. She is a graduate of SDSU in with a Bachelor of Science in commercial economics and currently lives in Sioux Falls with her husband John, and daughters, Suellin and Sarah.
