Public Forum Opportunities Announced for Three Finalists in the SDSU College of Agriculture and Biological Sciences Dean Search
Three finalists have been named in the search for the next dean of the College of Agriculture and Biological Sciences at South Dakota State University. The finalists, all SDSU alumni, are:
- Dr. Barry Dunn, executive director and Kleberg Endowed Chair, King Ranch Institute for Ranch Management at Texas A&M University-Kingsville;
- Dr. Joseph Hiller, assistant dean and director for American Indian programs, associate director for the Arizona Agricultural Experiment Station, assistant director for the Arizona Cooperative Extension Service, and head of American Indian Studies graduate interdisciplinary program at the University of Arizona in Tucson; and
- Dr. Kenneth Odde, professor and head, Department of Animal Sciences and Industry at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas.
The finalists, selected by a 14-member search committee, will be interviewed on the SDSU campus on December 2, 3, and 8. The candidates will also meet stakeholders at the following public forums in Brookings, Pierre, and Rapid City.
